The apartment

We can offer you a beautiful cosy apartment with your own entrance, measurements 52 m². The apartment consists of a bedroom with two beds (box mattresses), a living room with a double sofa-bed, a lovely bathroom and a kitchen with a dining area. The kitchen has everything necessary for preparing food: a cooker, a microwave, pots, a fridge, a freezer and all the cutlery and utensils that you will need. It will be easy for you to prepare your own food.

There are some toys and children's books in the apartment and there is a cot (children up to 1½ years old). These are all there for your use.

Should you want to sit back and enjoy the outdoor atmosphere, the apartment has its own beautiful patio with garden furniture with views into an orchard and surrounding fields.

Surrounding

Stentebjerg is a small former farm located in the remote countryside. Being far from the main roads, it is child-friendly and blissfully idyllic. We are ourselves a family of three and we live and work here, other residents of the area include a group of ginger cats. The scenery is stunning and everywhere you look you will see an abundance of meadows. In this area there are plenty of walks and opportunities to enjoy both scenery and animals. On clear nights you can look up and see the stars away from the distracting glare of city lights.

If you would like to go on a shopping trip, the nearest town is Veflinge, 4 kilometres away. There you will find a grocer who is open every day from 8 am to 7 pm. For those who yearn for something more townie, then Bogense is the closest (10 km). Apart from that we are under 5 minute’s drive from Rugårdsvej, the main road to Odense (21 km).

Bathing opportunities are plentiful. We are approximately 9 km away from some excellent bathing areas.

Within a radius of 8 km there are plenty of put-and-take fishing lakes.

Practical information

Arrival and departure: Arrival: preferably after 2 pm.
Departure: preferably before 12 midday.
Just let us know if you have other wishes.
Reservation: It is not necessary to make a reservation but it is a good idea to be on the safe side.
Board: Breakfast consists of homemade bread, juice, coffee, tea, butter, various types of marmalade, milk and, if required, cheese. It is all located in the kitchen and the bread is brought fresh every day.
NOTE: Smoking is not allowed in the apartment - Neither are we keen on domestic pets.
